Mission Objectives
China's gaming industry is poised to become the world’s largest. The gaming market is forecast to expand from $105 million (2004) to $2 billion (2007) due to the rapid adoption of technology and improved lifestyle in China.
This mission will bring China's top game developers and online game operators to the US to meet with their potential technology and business partners. The focus of the mission is to match those Chinese game companies with qualified US technology partners, agents, game publishers and console manufacturers.
Opportunities in the following areas will be explored:
- Publishing and operating Chinese-made games, especially MMOGs, in the US
- Publishing and operating US-made games, especially MMOGs, in China
